Grey Wulff

The Grey wulff trout fly all year round but best in spring and summer. Fish them dry or slightly soggy they will catch all fish. When the mayflies are hatching this will take some beating. Wullf flies are really a good bulked up dry fly, traditional dry flies can be fragile on fast waters and rivers so the wulff flies fill that void. In a choice of colours, the grey wulff was the first one designed and many variations of the fly have materialised.
